My dad is a movie fanatic.
He loves almost every genre, with horror being part of the genre category he is not fond of.
And one of my favorite pastimes with my dad is watching tales of adventures beyond our imaginations. It still amazes me that, for someone who prefers drama/comedy action, movies like Spirited Away and Paul Blart: Mall Cop manages to capture his interest as well.
I find it wholesome through the movies we watch together to see my dad connect to his inner child, and that we’d get to belly laugh at many of the hilarious or dumbfounded moments in some of the storylines.
