Monthly Highlights | March 2022

Here are some of my favorite things in March 2022!

Entertainment

Streaming service(s) might change from the time of writing this post due to the services’ contract with the movie/TV show networks.

NOBLESSE (2016) | 1 SEASON, 13 EPISODES

I didn’t know what I was getting into when I started Noblesse, but as I continued watching, I was mind-blown at how intriguing the story actually was. I do love the characters already, especially Raizel, and I really wish a season 2 would be released soon because there’s just so much more to the characters and history of the nobles that haven’t been fully showcased to the audience yet.

Maturity Rating: TV-14 • Genre: Adventure, Sci-Fi • Original Language: Japanese • Streaming Service: Max, Crunchyroll

RESCUED BY RUBY (2022)

This is a beautiful story. I have a dog of my own, and although we’re not training to be part of a K-9 unit, the level of trust that we have with each other is no doubt felt and understood when watching the trust that Daniel and Ruby have with each other.

Maturity Rating: TV-G • Genre: Family, Drama • Original Language: English • Streaming Service: Netflix

HERSHEY'S DARK CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE PIE

My dad’s birthday was in March, and for his gift, I wanted to make him a no-bake cake. My mom suggested to get an already-made pie biscuit base to make it easier for me, and I agreed. The cake turned out to be pretty sweet, but it was delicious, nonetheless.

MANGO CHEESECAKE PIE

Similar to my dad, my mom’s birthday was also in March, and I decided to make another flavored pie cake for her. This one turned out much tastier than the first. My mom loved it, and my dad couldn’t stop eating it. I think I might start my own pie cake bakery someday because I did find doing this so fun (and tasty!).

Events

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MOM AND DAD

Incredibly blessed for my parents to celebrate another year around the world. They are incredibly amazing and have worked their hardest to help me get to who and where I am today. I love you, parentals!

Gratitude

I AM GRATEFUL FOR...

  • Celebrating my parents’ birthdays with them.
  • Everyone who has been saving my pins on Pinterest.
  • Fresh mangoes growing in my backyard.
  • Having access to streaming services.
  • My journey.

A gratitude list doesn’t have to include major life events (but do include them when they do happen). Simple blessings, such as showering with clean water, are overlooked privileges to be grateful for.

Incorporate or reserve at least 10 minutes of your daily routine to write at least three (3) things you’re grateful for.

We all need a good reminder to keep our feet on the ground.

“Always believe in yourself. Do this, and no matter where you are, you will have nothing to fear.” –Baron Humbert von Gikkingen, The Cat Returns
