Seven Products I Love

Throughout the year, I’ve learned that I tend to (often) collect things.

And most of the time, they’re not on purpose.

I went to San Francisco with just two luggage, a carry-on, and a backpack. I left SF having to rent a storage unit, and bringing along three luggage, a backpack, and a carry-on.

I don’t exactly know how I managed to accumulate SO. MANY. THINGS…in less than four years at that.

Is this even considered normal?

Even so, with the number of things I have, it took a while for me to reach seven products that I love using throughout 2020. And I have just gotten all of these this year. So now, they’re on the list of additional things I’ve collected since moving to the states. Fun.

Products That Made an Impression on Me in 2020

AROMATHERAPY BODY WASH

It’s no surprise that the body wash made it to this list. I’ve mentioned them in about three blog posts. I do genuinely love their scents and the effects they have on my body i.e. falling asleep within minutes of use, having hyperactive energy, or feeling relaxed throughout my day. I do plan on trying other scents and seeing how my body reacts to them.

The scents I’m currently using are Eucalyptus Tea (Stress Relief), Lavender Vanilla (Sleep), and Orange Ginger (Energy). Orange Ginger is a scent that may or may not take some time getting used to, if at all. If you’re not fond of ginger, then this may not be an ideal body wash for you. Other than that, these three work wonders and I’m grateful to be using them.

TRAVEL JOURNAL

I’ve always wanted a travel journal since I was a teenager. I think it’s a beautiful way of storing travel memories and seeing the journal grow thicker as more memories get added. This year, I am grateful to have been gifted one from a friend, and I’m so excited to fill it up with memories. I love the leather quality and that it’s big enough to write and preserve memories in, but small enough to easily place in my backpack. Unfortunately, I don’t know where my friend got it from, so I apologize for not being able to link it.

"OVERTHINKING AND ALSO HUNGRY" PULLOVER

It is rare for me to purchase clothes online, but there was this one pullover that I knew I had to have. The graphic was the main reason why I got this pullover, but I do find the quality to be worth it. The material is quite comfortable, but it is more on the thin side. If you’re getting this exact pullover, I suggest getting one or two sizes up, especially if you’re into oversized hoodies and pullovers (like I am).

PORTABLE LAPTOP DESK

For a long time I’ve had my laptop placed on my bed or a pillow. I don’t know why I just got the desk this year, but I’m so happy I did. My only issue with the desk is that the legs are quite wobbly, which isn’t ideal for something that is meant to be placed on top of a bed. So, for the most part, I typically have this placed on the floor, and do my work from the floor. I don’t mind it much because I’m able to at least lean my back against the bed, and it surprisingly feels comfortable. Definitely more stable than a pillow too.

LAUNDRY MESH BAGS

I feel like such a mom whenever I see that I listed laundry mesh bags as my one of my favorite products this year. But hey, they work and keep my delicate clothes and blankets safe from the harshness of the washing machine. Mesh bags are also super helpful for keeping undergarments together and avoid losing any of them.

SUPERM ALBUMS

I can’t believe I almost forgot about adding my first K-Pop albums on here. They’re practically my babies. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I think SuperM is an amazingly talented group with unique sounds that I enjoy listening to, and I’m glad to be able to have their albums. I was also very excited that I pulled my SuperM bias, Taemin for my I.D. and postcard, and I didn’t get any repeated member pulls.

WIRELESS MOUSE

Is it weird to have a wireless mouse as one of my favorite products this year? Probably. But, I love it. One of my favorite things about this mouse is how silent the clickers are, at least compared to my previous mouse. The scroll wheel is does make more sound, but I don’t mind it as much. It’s also lightweight, and easy to grasp and move around.
