Hello Spring | My Spring Happy List

Spring is just around the corner and I’m so excited!

I. Love. Spring.

After being able to experience all four seasons in the States, I was able to realize that Spring, and Autumn, are my two absolute favorite seasons.

I’m surprised, but not really, that my two favorite seasons happen to be the season of beginnings and the season of endings. There are a couple of other spiritual aspects of my whole identity and purpose in this world that pretty much align with this coincidence. But, I won’t delve into it, at least not right now.

In this post, I am going to talk about why Spring has captured my heart like no other.

My Spring Happy List

A couple of the island’s biggest events happen during Spring – Marianas March Against Cancer, Flame Tree Arts Festival, and the Taste of the Marianas, as well as graduation and promotional ceremonies, are on the top of my head.

I have never done gardening before, but after seeing other houses have such beautiful flowers growing in their front yard, and not to mention how they look in anime, I couldn’t help but be inspired to try growing a flower, vegetable, or herb garden myself.

I love that the days seem to stretch more during the season that I feel like I can breathe a little in between tasks.

Other than participating in the making and hiding of Easter eggs, the holiday has a more sentimental meaning that I’m proud to celebrate as well.

I’m looking forward to picnics in the parks, bike riding, leisure walks, driving with the windows down, and spending time in nature. There are dozens of activities to do outdoors that don’t involve monetary spending and being in crowded spaces, and I look forward to being away from technology and my four walls.

I can’t express enough how much I love flowers, trees, grass, and everything about nature. The hibernating animals are waking up from their slumber, the skies are covered in beautiful melodies, and there are fields of rainbow flowers and soothing scents all around us.

Flowers aren’t the only beings able to bloom during the season. In Spring, there’s this energy in all of us that’s focused on healing, growing, and even starting fresh, should we choose to. Allow yourself to bloom with this natural energy.
