Trip Down Friendship Lane

It’s been a while since I’ve done a post involving my friends, so I figured now would be a good time to do so.

I asked two of my closest friends to answer some questions about our friendship. The questions are a combination of questions from My First Time Tag and Best Friend Tag.

Friend A and B were sent the same set of questions. Friend A’s answers are pertaining to the friendship that she and I have, and Friend B’s answers are pertaining to the friendship that he and I have. I have also answered these questions, one set of questions per friend. I did not change my answers after seeing what my friends have answered.

The end goal is to see how much we remembered and see what answers were similar and different.

My friends and I enjoyed answering these questions quite a bit. It was interesting to see what we remember and if we remember the same things.

We definitely took a trip down friendship lane.

There is a template available for download at the end of the post. Hope you and your friends have as much fun as we did answering them!

I rode with my friend and her cousin to register for college classes and my friend introduced me to this girl. I greeted her very nicely and she ignored me.

FIRST IMPRESSION OF EACH OTHER.

A SNOB.

FIRST MOMENT WE CONSIDERED THE OTHER A FRIEND.

I first considered her as a friend when we took our very class together. The more we hung out with each other, the more I felt closer to her as a friend. So I considered her a friend, but apparently, it wasn’t mutual at the time because she saw me as a classmate.

Very considerate…to a fault.

FIRST SCARY / WEIRD EXPERIENCE WE HAD TOGETHER.

Walking through the school hallways at night and the lights would flicker.

FIRST ARGUMENT.

I was mad at her for being reckless about something and wanted to get answers from her about it, but she didn’t want to answer me.

FIRST ADVICE WE’D GIVEN EACH OTHER.

“Stop worrying about what other people think about you.”

FIRST MEMORY WE HAVE OF EACH OTHER (THE MEMORY THAT AUTOMATICALLY POPS UP WHEN WE THINK OF EACH OTHER).

When we would tie each other’s hair during our free time in college.

FIRST VACATION TOGETHER.

Haven’t had one.

FIRST THING WE’D TELL THE OTHER ON THEIR WEDDING DAY.

Be happy, I guess.

It took about a month of meeting each other before I considered her a friend, and other than having mutual friends, we’d have multiple classes together that made us hang out more often.

Her independence.

We’ve had many, the first one that popped to mind was when I completely left the group and went on with life for a while.

FIRST ADVICE WE’D GIVEN EACH OTHER.

I can’t remember the exact words, but it was about having the courage to pursue her goals.

My Answers for Friend B:

FIRST TIME WE MET.

We were classmates for both Sociology and Philosophy classes in one semester. The first time I think I ever said something to him was during our Sociology class when we were assigned a group project.

FIRST IMPRESSION OF EACH OTHER.

I thought he was pretty introverted like me because he was also pretty quiet (spoiler: he was the total opposite once I got to know him).

FIRST MOMENT WE CONSIDERED THE OTHER A FRIEND.

Around the time I invited him to my birthday gathering at the beach.

FIRST TRAIT WE LOVED ABOUT EACH OTHER.

I loved his positive energy and still do.

FIRST TIME WE HUNG OUT OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL.

My birthday gathering at the beach.

FIRST PHOTO TOGETHER.

When we wore our business suits for our business interview final.

FIRST HOBBY WE GOT INTO TOGETHER.

Did we even get into a hobby together? My memory is failing me right now. Two things come to mind: Going around the island or eating out.

FIRST THING WE BOUGHT FOR EACH OTHER.

A shirt that I gifted him.

FIRST SCARY / WEIRD EXPERIENCE WE HAD TOGETHER.

Not sure if this was our very first experience together, but it was a major one: our hike to Old Man by the Beach. We were basically played around with the spirits during the trail because the trail was not visible and we were surrounded by grass and a short fence to our right, and a cow to our left. We eventually found our way, thank goodness. Coming back, we came the same way, and the trail was there. No cow or fence was in sight.

FIRST ARGUMENT.

We’ve had mini, joking arguments, but I don’t think anything was too serious because I can’t remember any.

FIRST ADVICE WE’D GIVEN EACH OTHER.

Quite honestly, I don’t remember any advice I’d given. For the most part, I feel like he’s the one who’s been giving me all the advice.

FIRST MEMORY WE HAVE OF EACH OTHER (THE MEMORY THAT AUTOMATICALLY POPS UP WHEN WE THINK OF EACH OTHER).

I just remember all of the random laughs we’d have together, especially when we talk in sarcasm.

FIRST VACATION TOGETHER.

We haven’t taken one together…yet.

FIRST THING WE’D TELL THE OTHER ON THEIR WEDDING DAY.

“It’s about dang time you found your forever person.”

Keep being inspired and take care always,
