Wish We Could Meet Soon, J

Hi, J!

Oh gosh – it’s been a while since we last talked, but I’m more grateful that throughout the years we’ve kept in contact with each other.

And, the most surprising part is that we have yet to even meet in person.

I just realized that we’ve been online friends for a decade now, and it’s really all thanks to our support towards one amazing musician – Joseph Vincent.

I still remember that time when he had a concert in your area, and you actually called me to have the opportunity to personally talk to him on the phone and I was just shocked, to say the least. Aha. No words can ever explain how grateful I was and still am, for that moment and it was truly thanks to you.

J, though we haven’t met in person, I feel so blessed to befriend you. And, I’m not saying this just because of that JV interaction.

I sincerely mean it when I say that I see you as such a sweet, adventurous soul who I have looked up to since our first conversations.

So, if this is how you are online, I can’t wait to see who you are offline and get to know more about you. There’s only so much that we can reveal through messages I look forward to having deep, meaningful conversations with you in person. I also look forward to experiencing some new adventures and extroverted-ness that might make me go into sleep mode for a week when I go back to my introverted self.

I can’t wait for the day that we get to visit each other’s hometowns and show off the places that molded us into the people we came to know. For someone so adventurous, I’m excited to tour you around the tiny island I call home. I can’t wait to share the delicacies we’re fond of – island BBQ, Red Rice, Kelaguen, Bunelos, and Apigigi to name a few! And if you’re into water activities as well as hiking – boy, will your days on the island be full of banana boats and hidden trails to some of the most beautiful views you’ll ever witness.

I’m bragging, but this is how much I love my island, and I hope you’ll love it just as much.

I’m craving for the time when I can visit your country as well! Ever since you showed me photos of some of your favorite spots, I’ve been planning to someday visit because they’re all so beautiful and I’m excited to learn more about your country and culture. I can’t wait to savor your local dishes, bask in your favorite sceneries, walk along the streets as if I was walking on them for years, and simply enjoy the energy and air of your hometown.

J, every conversation we’ve had has always been a lovely one. I love hearing stories of your latest adventures, even if they are of the relaxing activities you’ve been into lately.

You’re a rare gem, and I excitingly wish we could meet soon, J.

I hope you have a lovely holiday season and that you’re fully recovered from your last thrill.

Let’s chat again soon and catch up!
